Write a 50 word reflective paragraph about the movie "Saving Private Ryan". I've tried to teach you that war is a last alternative to diplomacy and cooperation. War can be scary and people can sometimes loss their humanity, dignity, and goodness. What did you think of the movie and what are your thoughts about WWII and why it was fought.

In the following movie “ Saving Private Ryan '' I thought it was overall outstanding due to the way war was represented in the film with all the occurrences and accuracy that occurred during the war. I found it crazy how the film represented a topic that occurred in real life due to the amount of terrifying and dignifying moments they are put into.

I thought the movie was a great interpenetration of the brutalities of war. The first scenes in the movie first of showing the American landings in Omaha Beach later follows a band of soldiers on a retrieval mission for one man. Some of the scenes that shocked me where when the team's medic Wade was killed it was brutal. And too see how distraught the remainder of the team came to be after his death. It really puts you into the soldiers' mindset as this type of action was seen continuously throughout the war. Later on as well we see the change in Upham, where he tried to abide by the rules but eventually broke the barrier killing a German whom he defended previously. My thoughts on why World War 2 was fought is that the League of Nations were to power hungry and wanted the people of Germany to suffer. Rather than mend the wounds they worsened them. But nonetheless the war was fought in order to secure the freedoms of people world wide.

Saving Private Ryan shows the true brutality of war. It doesn't hold back on showing the effects that loosing people can do to the people around them. It shows how war changes people into cold distant shells of their former selves. But it also shows how in times of trouble and strife people can band together to support and push each other towards their common goal.

My thoughts on the movie is that it shows how war really is and how violent it can get. I think it really shows the way the soldier work as a team trying not to leave anyone behind and supporting each other. For me, the whole movie was shocking because it shows how loosing one member of the team can change the whole team.

This was a great movie, the reason being it depicted war and showed how soldiers never leave a man behind even if it means giving and risking their own lives. When it comes to war, it is like a different world, once you enter the combat area there is no escaping. This shows what really goes on when soldiers are deployed to fight.

I think the movie depicts war in a different way than you'd perceive it showing the true nature of combat, even when the soldiers were dying in front of them they had to move on in a matter of minutes. I think WW2 was heavily caused by the weakened state of germany after war reparations and hitler/the Nazi party was able to take advantage of that, however, I still believe the actions of hitler were horrible and the war was necessary to save the lives of millions

This movie was something else. It provided an in depth look into the brutality of war while also showing the human side of things and how war affects the mind. Its intricate storytelling makes for a good movie watching experience and keeps you hooked until the very end! It was very sad to see all those soldiers die and its good that movies like this exist, so that they may inform people on the reality of war and the human cost. Truly heartbreaking

I think the movie made a good representaion of how combat really is like and also shows how hard people fought for their country. I think the way they showed what combat was like is very accurate because what they showed were very gory scenes which is accurate when it comes to real life.

This move shed light to how the war was really like. You might think that if you fight the German team you are the hero, the good guy but what this movie showed us is that almost everyone is the villian just becuse the opposing team killed your men you <del>aswell</del> did the same thing kill one of the others teammates. this moive truely showed us the inhumane ways of the war.

Going to war is something no one wants to do because you are technically giving your life away.
