I would like to incorporate 5-10 classroom jobs that change weekly or biweekly so students get to experience different jobs

I definitely want to do classroom jobs, I love the shared sense of ownership and responsibility they cultivate!

I also want to create an anchor chart that lists the 25 things I’m thankful for and I list each student in my class and one specific thing I appreciate about them!

I really love the idea of classroom jobs and will be implementing them in my future classroom. I think even in Kindergarten students can handle classroom

jobs and it give them a sense of responsibility and purpose. I would switch jobs monthly in my future classroom.

I want to have positive affirmations throughout the classroom and have a spot where students can calm their feelings comfortably. The classroom jobs will include all of the students at different times.

I want to implement jobs that will make my students feel important, valued, and seen within the classroom. I have also seen a whole class classroom management “secret star student” it’s new everyday and hidden until the end of the day IF the star student had a good day they get a prize, if the student does not get revealed to the class.

I want to implement day morning greetings at the door to check in on students at the start of the day and make them feel like their presence is welcomed. I think a huge list of classroom jobs gives student choice (there will be fixed jobs like paper passer, etc.)

I want to implement atleast 10 classroom jobs but also switching it out every month so every kid can get the opportunity to do most of the jobs.

I love the idea of incorporating jobs! I feel jobs are key when it comes to growing a community. It’s a fun way to expose careers, vocabulary, and responsibility within the classroom while working together.
