         <description><![CDATA[<p>The Liberal Party was created back in July 1st, 1867 that combined both English and French Canadians.  It was created because they are anti-imperialist, as they want to promote multi-cultures. The current leader is Justin Trudeau.</p>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<p>Logos: </p><p>A large C with a maple leaf in the middle of it with a blue underline.</p><p>Colours: </p><p>Red - prosperity and hope.  </p><p>Blue -  the Conservative Party </p><p>Taglines: "Bring it home!"</p><p>Methods: </p><p>Uses the Capital C to show they are proudly conservative and uses belief in constitutional monarchy, the institutions of Parliament and Canada's democratic process to bring word on their party.</p>]]></description>

It was founded in 1961 at the convention uniting the Co-operative Commonwealth Federation and affiliated unions&nbsp; of the Canadian Labour Congress and also New Party Clubs. NDP’s policies are committed to a moderate form of socialism and a mixed economy. It also favours government planning and public ownership. The current leader of the NDP is Jagmeet Singh.</p>]]></description>

Their main priorities are to provide more jobs for people, create cleaner communities, and to reduce emissions &amp; pollution to protect our environment. </p></li></ul><p>Military Spending</p><ul><li><p><em>Strong, Secure, Engaged, and Inclusive</em> is the Liberal Party's military plan. Their priorities are to upgrade technology (surveillance, monitoring, control systems) to exterminate threats, cooperate with international organizations &amp; allies, continue to stay associated with NATO in order to keep all Canadians safe.</p></li></ul>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<p>Healthcare: They want to increase the funding but without using the funds directly for healthcare.</p><p>Military Spending: Recently in February, Pierre Poilievre stated that he wanted to boost military spending and cut foreign aid to achieve that. </p><p>Education: Conservatives have promised that they want to boost RESP and post-school job programs for international students.</p><p>Taxes and spending on social programs to alleviate poverty:</p><p>Regarding taxes, they plan on making the taxes lower to make life more affordable. With poverty, they want to increase the income of CWB to support struggling families.</p>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<ol><li><p>When was the political party created, why was it created and who is their current leader?</p></li></ol><p>The political party was created in Jun 15, 1991. The purpose of this group was meant for the Quebec MPs to have a parliamentary movement as they left the conservative and liberal parties after the failure of the meech lake accord. In general it is meant to promote Quebec's interests in the house of commons.&nbsp;</p><p>The current leader is Yves-François Blanchet MP.</p><p><br></p><ol start="2"><li><p>What are the logos, colors, taglines or other methods used to create easy recognition of the party? </p></li></ol><p>The symbol in the bloc Quebecois typically uses bright colors but in this logo it’s not the same to make it easier to recognize their party. They typically also use the shape of it to represent their goals or just a way to represent them. The B stands for Quebec's beauty and the dark blue background shows stability, and trust showing people how they can rely on this party.</p><p><br><br></p><ol start="3"><li><p><em>What are your party’s platforms (also known as party planks) – in other words, what are their main priorities in the following areas:</em></p></li></ol><p><br/></p><ul><li><p>The clarity act can be repealed and the musket rats hydroelectric project would be opposed, but both would be in support for Quebec’s sovereignty</p></li><li><p>Giving support to the Kyoto Protocol.&nbsp;</p></li><li><p>Gives Abortion rights.&nbsp;</p></li><li><p>Gives LGBTQ+ rights.&nbsp;</p></li><li><p>Allowing Legalization of assisted suicide.&nbsp;</p><p>They support Quebec's sovereignty over their interests and gives rights to LGBTQ+ and Abortions. They want the legalization for assisted suicide and supports the Kyoto Protocol.</p><p><br/></p></li></ul>]]></description>
