I still had my friends since 6th grade but something was different. I never really took school seriously, so I didn’t have any classes with many of my friends. This era made me make new friends and made my new connections. I was always an introvert and honestly, this year has made me open up more especially to new people. Overall the start of this year was rough but was smoothed out once I started making new friends.

This project made me find old photos of me that I didn’t even know existed. Honestly, this project made me pretty happy. Being able to see old photos of me again made me realize how far I’ve come. This project motivated me to keep on doing better.

Reading this book and seeing how the boys progressively got worse really emphasized how when people are put into dangerous situations they will change their friends to survive. The boys trying to maintain order within the island really showed how people are naturally power-hungry. The exploration of human nature within this book fascinated me and honestly left a deep connection in my heart. I would read this book again and again if I could.
