Some of the causes of infertility in women include fallopian tube blockage, uterine fibroids, tubal infection, and endometriosis. Blocked fallopian tubes, caused by STIs and the build-up of endometrial tissue, causes infertility because that is where most eggs are fertilized. Uterine fibroids is a disease caused by the hormones estrogen and progesterone. Tubal infection is caused by dangerous bacteria and STDs. Endometriosis is when the endometrial lining grows outside the uterus, damaging pelvic organs.

"Female Infertility and IVF." Medicover Fertility, www.medicoverfertility.in/blog/female-infertility-and-ivf,390,n,5475.
