    2. Donatello created the sculptor David. This is well known for today because of it's attention to detail and gothic style. He also sculpted the figures, St. Mark, Gattamelata, and, Magdalene Penitent. 
    3.     He was alive during the 14th century, the first century of the Renaissance. 
    4. Donatello’s pieces influenced society because his style was different from the norms at the time. His art incorporated emotion, perspective, and proportion. These elements were not seen in art pieces before him. His sculptures also inspired many other sculpturists, such as Michelangelo, who lived after Donatello had passed. His artwork inspired different people to create their own style, which resulted in a new art style movement. 
    5. Donatello’s works of art were groundbreaking because he incorporated perspective and emotion into all of his pieces. He successfully portrayed suffering, joy, and sorrow in his figure’s face and body positions. He also strayed away from the gothic style and created one of his own. He incorporated dramatic and emotional aspects, which contradicted the gothic style.
    6. Donatello was born in Florence, Italy around 1386. He lived there his whole life but visited other places during his lifetime.
