Extend - The use of helicopters saved thousands of lives, by bringing the sick and injured to medical centres. The idea that every generation has "its" war, this is now completely lost. 

Challenge - The idea of nicknaming the other side, reminds me of "Kilroy was here". A possibly playful way of bringing hope and a small attack towards the enemy. I wonder if this aid morale?
