Making sure he had anything he needed like his slippers or a snack.</p><p>Also in the old 50s drinking while pregnant was quite normal because not a lot of people were aware of the affects and in the story Mary was drinking whiskey while being pregnant.</p>]]></description>

In the text, they wrote the house should be cleaned, dinner should be ready, the wife should make her husband comfterble and wait for him, and when he arrives greet him with love and show that she is happy he is back. We can see this is how women are expected to to act in the olden days, so this is how mary acts. She waits for him, she is happy when he arrives, she makes him comfterble, and cleans the house.</p>]]></description>
