  The poem has metaphors, rhyme, and simile. 
  Mood is sad because in the poem it show the he is sad because his mom died his dad left him and his wife died young  
  The message is to show time is important

TITLE:I think the poem is going go to be about a little girl that imagens she is in the jungle with her friends.
PARAPHRASE: Isabel meet a  bear, witch, giant, and the doctor. She ate the she turned the witch into milk and drank it not only that she also cut the giants head off this does not end here she also weirdly cured the doctor 
CONNOTATION: rhyme- worry scurry, wrinkled sprinkled. Simile "pitch black". Repetition, "Isabel Isabel" personification: bear doesn't talk.  metaphor: witches, monsters are symbols of fear.
ATTITUDE TONE: fantasy, brave, cool, mysterious, and entertaining  
SHIFTS: there are some shift in the beginning and end. In beginning it sound like a kids book but when she starts killing people and monsters. But at the end she saves the doctor which is something you don’t expect. 
THEME:  the theme is overcoming fears and challenges.
