<title>The title of the poem is “At first, it true, I thought there were only peaches and wild grapes”It is about a girl that thought there was only peaches and wild grapes in her world, but then she realized that there was more than she thought. The poem is a free verse poem which means the poem doesn’t have rhyme or rhythm. In the poem the author used metaphors such as “The black loud smelling &amp; delicious durian”In that metaphor she is showing that she likes durians and she also used “the fleshy orange mango”. The author also used smiles such as “the spiky, white hearted soursop”.The tone of the author is happy and somewhat proud that she learned about new fruits. She has used words like delicious that she is happy. The shifts in poem it when she says she has learned about new fruits. The theme of the poem is universal because in our lives we learn about new things and that we don’t know everything. The message is to tell people that we are still learning and we don’t know everything.</title>
