Kindly make students practice with the computer mouse only. No touch pad and touch screens should be given.

This is recommended for their gross motor as well as fine motor skills along with the hand eye coordination.

To connect learning from the previous theme on Community Helpers by selecting job-related characters.

To develop skills in manipulating characters’ colors, expressions, and movements to enhance storytelling and self-expression.

Tasks Done

Practiced adding, duplicating, rotating, flipping, and resizing characters in ToonyTool.

Introduced the Storyboard app, where students selected characters based on jobs (doctor, firefighter, Santa).

Customized characters by changing colors, facial expressions, and leg/hand movements.

With teacher support, captured screenshots of the final creations and uploaded them to Padlet for sharing and celebration.

Homework

Visit Padlet to admire and encourage the students’ wonderful work showcasing their creativity and understanding of community helpers through digital storytelling. I humbly request parents to support students by giving them time to practice their skills on the apps learned—this will make them confident as well as well-informed when they join me in the next class.
