The PhD/ECR group hosted a virtual 'soft launch' on 28th January 2026 14.00-15.30 GMT.

In this session, we set out the aims and ambitions for the group, and invited suggestions around what you would like to see! There were plenty of opportunities to give feedback and suggestions about the future of the network, and we thank everyone who was able to attend!

We need to talk about work!

mzyxjmjc — 2025-10-22 09:00:54 UTC

The first WNI book proposal is taking shape, with a working title 'We need to talk about work'.

The book aims to ‘re-centre’ work within academic, public, and policy debates by bringing into dialogue a range of disciplinary perspectives and showcasing cutting edge international and comparative research on various topics relating to work.

Discussions with publishers are underway, and a call for contributions will be circulated throughout WNI soon!
