<title>Rupi Kaur successfully started off her poem with a soft tone and added a sprinkle of sass when it comes to her punchlines when speaking about men. Kaur uses repetitiveness to speaks heavily on self empowerment and on how she would not let anyone take advantage of her, especially a man. For example &quot; don&#39;t come here with expectations and try to make a vacation out of me&quot; demonstrates how she would not let someone easily manipulate her. Another great quote is &quot;I am the water you need&quot; expressing her importance on herself and self value. Her strongest devices was imagery and rhythm. She could&#39;ve used a better tone to highlight her importance but overall her reading was perfect.</title>

<title>I love when he emphasizes &quot; When a boy tells you he loves you&quot; in a slow and soft tone and when he begins explaining that the boy does not mean it he speaks in a little fast paced creating tension until he repeats his famous line and repeats the same process again. The imagery that he uses constantly reminds and shows what he is trying to explain himself. The ending itself was perfect, saying &quot; he is a just a boy. Remember he is just another silly boy&quot; expressing that the kid si just saying that because he is young and not because he truly means it.</title>
