In our Carbon Footprint etwinning project, we carried out awareness activities by drawing attention to the environment, nature and climate change. We learned what carbon footprint is, how it affects our environment, and ecological footprint calculations. We had the opportunity to compare the results we obtained at the end of the project with the results of our partners in Europe, and we completed our work in cooperation. We organized interviews and meetings about our subjects from experts in their fields. We touched on our national values with the activities we held on certain days and weeks.

We used appropriate web 2.0 tools in the activities we did throughout our project. In our project, where we aim to gain 21st century skills, our students completed the activities in harmony with technology and in cooperation. We closed our project with kahoot and quizizz games with the participation of all partners. We observed that our project, which we learned by doing, having fun, and dealing with productive results, reached its goal.

Our aim in the carbon footprint etwinning project is to draw attention to air, water and environmental pollution and to protect nature by making changes in our lives. We communicated with partners and students via chat room, zoom and what's up. The fact that our students prepare their original products using web 2.0 tools has created the opportunity to use today's technologies better. Working in cooperation with foreign partners has improved our students' sense of self-confidence and provided the opportunity to meet different cultures. We calculated our carbon footprint and water footprint in our project. We compared our results with the country and world average. We had fun, learned and socialized with quiz and kahoot games. Our project created environmental awareness for us and contributed to our students' learning by doing and experiencing.

Karbon Ayak İzi

Karbon Ayak İzi projemizde karbon salınımı başta olmak üzere iklim değişliğine dikkat çekmek için çalışmalar gerçekleştirdik. Öğrencilerimiz aktif olarak projemizde görev aldılar. Proje süresince yapılan çalışmalarda web 2.0 araçlarını kullandık. Karbon ayak izinin ne olduğunu çevremizi nasıl etkilediğini ve ekolojik ayak izi hesaplamalarını öğrendik. Alanında uzman kişilerle söyleşiler gerçekleştirdik. Projemizde belirli gün ve haftalarda yaptığımız etkinlikler ile milli değerlerimize yer verdik. Öğrencilerimiz ve öğretmenlerimiz teknolojiyle uyumlu olarak ve işbirliği içinde çalışmalarını tamamladılar. Projemizin kapanışını tüm ortakların katılımı ile gerçekleştirdiğimiz kahoot ve quizizz oyunları ile yaptık ve verimli sonuçlar elde ettiğimizi, projemizin amacına ulaştığını gözlemlemiş olduk.

Our students and teachers have completed their studies in harmony and cooperation with technology. We closed our project with kahoot and quizizz games that we realized with the participation of all partners, and we observed that we achieved fruitful results and that our project reached its goal.

Projet très complet qui aura fait progresser les élèves sur leurs connaissances en CO2. il aura donné de nombreuses occasions de rencontres en ligne. Les professeurs auront quant à eux progressé dans leur utilisation des différentes utilisations du net et de ses nombreuses applications.
We used a lot of web 2.0 tools in the activities all along the project. It was an opportunity for the teachers to learn more about them. Küresel ısınmanın tehlikeli boyutlara ulaşmasına yol açarak ekolojik dengenin tahrip olmasına,su kaynaklarımızın azalmasına ve canlı türlerinin yok olmasına neden olan aşırı karbon salınımının yıkıcı etkilerine dikkat çekmeyi ve bu konuda farkındalığı arttırmayı hedefledik.Proje kapsamında karbon ayak izinin ne olduğu,nasıl hesaplandığı ve karbon ayak izimizi azaltmanın yolları gibi konularda,uzman kişilerin derin bilgi ve tecrübelerini biz ve öğrencilerimizle paylaşmaları için webinarlar düzenledik,soru-cevap ve çeşitli söyleşilerle kollektif bir sorumluluk inşa etmeye çalıştık.Su ayak izlerimizi hesapladık ve daha sonra çıkan sonuçları Avrupa’daki ortaklarımızın su ayak izleri ile karşılaştırıp su israfının önüne geçmeye çalıştık,bu doğrultuda çalışmalarımızı yürüttük.Daha yeşil bir dünya için öğrencilerimizle fidan sahiplendik.Belirli gün ve haftalarda ders müfredatıyla ilişkilendirilmiş etkinliklerimizi proje ortaklarımızla işbirliği içerisinde gerçekleştirdik.Projemiz boyunca yaptığımız etkinliklerde web 2.0 araçlarını etkili ve verimli şekilde kullandık.Projemizin kapanışını kahoot ve quizizz gibi oldukça eğlendirci ve öğretici oyunlarla gerçekleştirdik.Böylelikle proje süresince edindiğimiz bilgi ve tecrübeleri test etme,pekiştirme ve gözlemleme imkanına kavuştuk.Sevgili öğrencilerimizden bu konuda oldukça olumlu geri dönütler aldık.
CARBON FOOTPRINT

We aimed to draw attention to and raise awareness of the devastating effects of excessive carbon emissions,which lead to global warming reaching dangerous heights, destroying ecological balance, reducing our water resources and destroying living species.Within the scope of the project, we organized webinars for experts to share their deep knowledge and experience with us and our students on topics such as what the carbon footprint is, how it is calculated and ways to reduce our carbon footprint, and we tried to build a collective responsibility through questions and answers and various interviews.We calculated our water footprints and then compared the results with the water footprints of our partners in Europe and tried to prevent water waste,we conducted our work in this direction.For a greener world, we have owned saplings with our students.On certain days and weeks, we conducted activities associated with the course curriculum in cooperation with our project partners.We used web 2.0 tools effectively and efficiently in our activities throughout our project.We closed our project with very entertaining and instructive games such as kahoot and quizizz.In this way,we have the opportunity to test, reinforce and observe the knowledge and experience gained during the project.We have received quite positive feedback from our dear students on this issue.

21. yy da doğada olup biten olaylara kayıtsız kalamazdık. Bu proje ile okulumuza, ülkemize ve bütün dünyaya faydası olabilecek çalışmaların içerisinde olmak bizim için ayrı bir gururdur. Projemiz sayesinde öğrencilerimize dijital dünya ile bağlantılı olarak, canva, pixton, padlet, kahoot,quizzez vb. Web 2.0 araçları tanıtıldı ve öğrencilerin bu araçlarla projeye katkı sunmaları sağlanmıştır. Projemiz sayesinde karbon ayak izi, çevresel sorunlar, küresel ısınma, su ayak izi gibi kavramlar ile ilgili farkındalık artmıştır. Projemizin sosyal medya hesapları sayesinde de bu farkındalık yaygınlaşmıştır. Bu proje sayesinde farklı ülkeler ve illerden meslektaşlarımız ve öğrencilerimizle bir araya gelip bilgi ve tecrübelerden yararlandığımız gibi, karbon ayak izi ile alakalı karşılaştırma yapma imkanımız da olmuştur.
CARBON FOOTPRINT
In the 21st century, we could not remain indifferent to the events taking place in nature. It is a special honor for us to be involved in studies that can benefit our school, our country and the whole world with this project. Thanks to our project, we provide our students with canva, pixton, padlet, kahoot, quizzez etc. in connection with the digital world. Web 2.0 tools were introduced and students were enabled to contribute to the project with these tools. Thanks to our project, awareness of concepts such as carbon footprint, environmental problems, global warming and water footprint has increased. Thanks to the social media accounts of our project, this awareness has spread. Thanks to this project, we had the opportunity to come together with our colleagues and students from different countries and provinces and benefit from the knowledge and experience, as well as to make comparisons about the carbon footprint.

Carbon Footprint
In this eTwinning project, called Carbon Footprint, we have aimed to draw attention to the environmental issues, nature, and climate change. All the activities, we have done, are convenient to the essence of the project. All of the project members have collaborated during the completion of the activities. As a term, we have learned the meaning of carbon footprint. In that sense, every member of the project has learned how to calculate his/her carbon footprint number. After the results of the calculation, all the results have been compared to each other. Then, we have discussed the precautions to reduce our and others' carbon footprint numbers for the sake of the contiunity of a life on earth. Therefore, we have deepened our knowledge about carbon footprint thanks to the interviews with the experts of the issue. In the context of carbon footprint, we have also learned what water footprint and ecological footprint are. In addition, we have arranged activities in the frame of special days and weeks during the project such as 8 March World Women Day, Safer Internet Day, and 9 May eTwinning Day.When the project is discussed in terms of its harmony with technological innovation, it will be realized that there are used convenient web. 2 tools in the activities. ıt is also important for the students because they have been in collaboration with each other. The students have completed all the activities by using technology within the collaboration process. That's one of the reason of why the project is convenient for the improvement of the students' skills which are supposed to get in the frame of the today's world. Within the participation of all the members of the project, we have completed it through quizziz and kahoot games. As a result, our aim of the project have been completed within the expected results including the productivity and fun.

The aim of our project is to draw attention to climate change, the damage to the environment and the world due to carbon emissions and to be informed about the measures we should take to reduce these damages and what we should and should not do to reduce our carbon footprint. In
this context, we organized very informative seminars on what carbon footprint is and calculated our carbon footprints. In our project, we carried out activities in accordance with certain days and weeks. On World Water Day,
students prepared a poster as a common product. Students worked collaboratively using Web 2.0 tools such as padlet and canva. We closed our project by having fun and reinforcing what we learned during the project with quizizz and kahoot games. We shared our activities on social media accounts and school websites.

As a geography teacher, taking part in the Carbon Footprint eTwinning project has a special place for me. With this project, we aimed to draw attention to the effects of human activities on the Atmosphere, Hydrosphere, Lithosphere and Biosphere and what needs to be done to reduce global climate change. We completed all our activities according to the cooperative learning method. Together with our project stakeholders, we grasped the concepts of carbon footprint, water footprint and ecological footprint with the presentations of academicians, we calculated our footprints and what needs to be done to reduce our footprints was also understood. Foot steps; individual, Turkey and world averages were analyzed and evaluated. We organized events within the framework of 8 March International Women's Day, Safe Internet Day, and 9 May eTwinning Day. At the same time, on World Water Day, students prepared a poster as a joint product and included our national values with certain days and weeks in our project. In the project, students worked collaboratively by using technological innovations such as Web 2.0 tools, Pixton, Padlet, and canva. We reinforced what we learned by having fun with kahoot and quizizz games. With this Project, we came together with people from different provinces and countries, in cooperation, having fun and socializing, and we became more conscious about our "home of the world" and awareness was created. In this context, our project achieved its purpose.

Coğrafya öğretmeni olarak Karbon Ayak İzi eTwinning projesinde yer almanın benim için ayrı bir yeri olmuştur.Yaklaşık 4,54 milyar yıl yaşında olan dünyamız Sanayi Devrimi’nin başladığı 1750 yılına göre günümüzde atmosferdeki karbondioksit oranı %40, metan gazı oranının da %150 arttığını dikkate alırsak insanoğlunun yapmış olduğu faaliyetlerin Atmosfer, Hidrosfer, Litosfer ve Biyosfer üzerindeki etkilerine ve küresel iklim değişimini azaltmak için yapılması gerekenlere bu proje ile dikkat çekmeyi amaçladık. Bütün etkinliklerimizi kubaşık öğrenme yöntemine göre tamamladık. Proje paydaşlarımızla beraber Karbon ayak izi, su ayak izi ve ekolojik ayak izi kavramlarını akademisyenlerin de sunumları ile kavradık, ayak izlerimizi hesapladık ve ayak izlerimizi küçültmek için yapılması gerekenler de kavranmıştır. Ayak izleri; bireysel, Türkiye ve Dünya ortalamaları analiz edilerek değerlendirilmiştir. 8 Mart Dünya Kadınlar Günü, Güvenli İnternet Günü, 9 Mayıs eTwinning Günü çerçevesinde etkinlikler düzenledik. Aynı zamanda Dünya su gününde öğrenciler ortak ürün olarak bir poster hazırlayarak projemizde belirli gün ve haftalar ile milli değerlerimize yer verdik. Projede Web 2.0 araçları Pixton, Padlet, canva gibi teknolojik yenilikleri öğrenciler kullanarak iş birliği içinde çalıştılar. Kahoot ve quizizz oyunlarıyla eğlenerek öğrendiklerimizi pekiştirdik. Bu Proje ile değişik illerden, ülkelerden insanlarla bir araya gelerek iş birliği içinde, eğlenerek, sosyalleşerek ‘‘Dünya evimiz’’hakkında daha da bilinçlendik ve farkındalık oluştu. Bu bağlamda projemiz amacına ulaştı.
