Part 1: Provide your VIDEO response after reviewing the materials posted through Padlet. 

In your video response, you must include (50 points)

1. Your definitions of AI

2. How do you see our society living with AI?

3. The benefits and concerns of AI in K-12 education 

4. Provide constructive comments on two other posts on Padlet. (You could use Video, Audio or Text type of response) 

5. The length of your video response should be up to 1:50 min.

6. Embed your Padlet video response onto your teacher website. (Refer to EDT 3010 website.) (Share on Padlet < Copy Embed Board Code< Paste in your teacher website (embed)



Part 2: Submit a URL of Google Doc (10 points)

1. Create a one-page Google Doc that elaborates on your answers to the three questions in Part 1 (this could be your script for your Padlet video). The number of words should be around 250-300 words per double-spaced page in a standard 12-point font such as Times New Roman or Arial. 

2. Add this Google Doc URL to your Padlet video on your teacher website.

3. Make sure to change the settings to share the Google doc with the instructor appropriately.

4. Submit the URL of your teacher website for the Padlet assignment page through Canvas.

For example AI can be used for facial Nitin software translating, analyzing data, ect.

For example, there are now self driving cars such as Tesla, or self driving ubers, or taxies.

This can be beneficial to elderly or disabled people, who don't have access to a ca, or are not able to get a license, but still need places to go. AI can also be used in facial recognition.

This is typically used in cell phones, the face id, it can help with security, with facial recognition, instead of passwords, which are easy to crack sometimes.

Facial Recognition AI can help law enforcement, it can help eliminate the line up process in helping get criminals get caught.

AI can also help detect algorithms online and on social media.

You will typically see things that you're interested in, instead of things that you may not like so much.

Virtual assistance also use AI Alexa or google home.

In this case you don't have to type or go online to look something up., you can just have it right there at your fingertips.

In K-Twelve education AI can be used for tutoring.

It could be beneficial for kids who are maybe struggling with a certain concept or subject, and a teacher, doesn't typically have enough time to provide one on one support for students outside of class times, so this can be beneficial for students to get that extra support outside of class. It can also help teacher lesson their workload.

AI can be used to help write up lessons or come up with ideas for lessons.

Teachers are already overworked, so AI can definitely be a helpful tool.

Some cons in for AI and through K-twelve education is students may not have access to that technology outside of the classroom.

Some schools give out chromebooks at the school, but also if students are not able to take them home some unless are not at school, they may not have access to that sort of technology and AI could weaken critical thinking skills.

Not being able to deduce wether something is is isn't AI is something that we're seeing a lot today.

And I think that it is only going to get worse for people if adults aren't able to critically think and figure out wether or not something is fake or something is real.

So this is my definition and things on AI.
