From 2000 to 2018, he managed the firm’s hedge fund executive search practice, hiring and training numerous consultants. His hires included the firm’s three top-producing partners, as well as dozens of associates, vice presidents, and directors. In addition to working from the New York office to grow the firm’s client base, Carlos Mejia frequently traveled to London, Hong Kong, and Singapore. Before working with the hedge fund practice at Options Group, Mr. Mejia serves as chairman of the funding committee with the North American Family Institute (NAFI), a non-profit agency that provides community-based behavioral health services for youth and adults. In addition, he served as a youth counselor and shift supervisor at several locations.
