According to my survey, everyone agrees that the average Russian family lives in a block of flats. They all think that the traditional nuclear family consists of a mother, a father and one or two children. Two out of three people I interviewed believe that the typical family prefer going abroad on holiday. However, Valentine considers that they like resting at dacha. Also, he believes that the average American family goes out twice a fortnight, but girls think that they go out only on holiday. As for the food, they argue that the average Russian family likes Italian, Japanese and American cuisine. Moreover, on the question about parent’s work, opinions are divided. One of three people I asked believes that both parents should work . The others think that only one parent work in a family. Besides, Anna and Ann suppose that children go to a state school, but Valentine thinks that they go to a private school.
