Facts about gender roles in the house: In 37% of U.S. households, the woman primarily pays the bills, while in 34% of households, the man does. Planning family activities is the only task that is reported as being shared equally by a majority, 52%. In households that don't share the job, women are more likely to be responsible (37%) than are men (10%).
Some thing that we can do to help this situation is Share the care, Report cases of sexism and harassment, Reject gender binary, Demand a culture of equality at work, Exercise your political rights, My parents say that we should work on it as well as at home, in their jobs, advise me to have that healthy environment in my school, and investigate more on the subject, since they agree with the solutions that I mentioned above.

Facts about gender roles: In childhood, the additional percentage that girls dedicate to unpaid work is 2%, but increases to 45% when they reach adolescence. In other words, adolescent girls contribute 73% of the economic value of unpaid work compared to the 27% contributed by men of the same age. Man cares more about work and get money to the family.
I asked my mom what she thinks about the subject and she told me that if people want to be housewives or want to work and earn money they can do it and that they should be with people who support their decision and respect it.

Gender roles influence how partners share household chores, how family members communicate with one another, and how parents interact with their children.
A majority of women (59%) say they do more household chores than their spouse or partner, while 6% say their spouse or partner does more. Among men, a plurality (46%) say these responsibilities are shared about equally, while 20% say they do more and 34% say their spouse or partner does more. Gender roles are one of the main causes of sexism and because of it kids grow with the idea that women have the responsability of take care of children and to be the home support.
My personal solutions would be to start learning and teach about the topic, be aware that both genders can be victim of this type of violence and start with the education at home to create generations that know about the topic and respect it.
My mom grew up with the idea i mentioned earlier but now she thinks that men and women are perfectly capable of doing the same things and a family MUST share the obligations, and it MUST be 50%-50% to be healthy and fair.
