This independent study allowed the opportunity to spend a semester diving into two areas of interest, User Experience Design and Web Development. I was able to combine my interest in User Experience Design with my interest in Web Development by learning HTML, CSS, and JavaScript and designing a number of different websites and activities that followed the User Experience Design Process and reflected many of the ideal principles of well designed UX.
