         <description><![CDATA[<p>1) Yesterdays class taught me that Thoreau worked only as long as he needed to in order to earn a living to survive off of, would stop then work again. </p><p>2) I wonder if he lived this way forever and how long he started.</p><p>3) I think Thoreau is still influential because people value the concept of under consumerism. Most people work a lot and can see his lifestyle as peaceful and something they wish they would've had.  </p>]]></description>
