Because when Kahu and Hokioi where having a flying comp on who could fly higher up into the sky. But when they got half way into the sky a fire started down no the Forest ground and Kahu had family to go save so he STOPED flying and went to save his kids. And Hokioi did not look back and did not see the Fire and he keeped going and they have not him seen the flying comp...
