Architects began to change with the industrial revolution. They began to use materials such as concrete, and to design squares with small windows and little light. Nowadays, architecture is more friendly to the planet because before it didn't matter if trees were cut, it was more important to make concrete blocks, but now, architecture and nature go hand in hand with all the new materials, giving priority to the environment. Architects have a responsibility to people because they have to provide them with comfort to live in good places suitable for them or their workplaces. Also, in construction, because architects can not risk that the structures could fall and people would be harmed.
In Colombia, an architect invented some plastic bricks as legos that are used to make houses for people, achieving comfort as they have the same resistance of a brick and can resist hurricanes and earthquakes.
