This idea from 1959 in certain areas of the world are still very persistent and true. The message that the author brings up and keeps up throughout the book so far are still apparent and persistent even in today's standards, so I would say that the ideas of the author persist and that we should be bringing more attention to these issues since these same ideas and problems from 1959 exist and have had very little movement to being solved.

Part 2, Level 4: The audience for this book is more so for people who are in the working class and only live barely with paycheck to paycheck more than likely and if the story needed a different audience it would be very different, but the story is made/worded to be able to reach everyone and even to today as stated above we should still agree with the message of the author as it still has truth that is important and persistent to this day, compared to other books within this genre it is still good as even without all the messaging it is still a good book that gets its message across without preaching or being to in your face about it, compared to other books which sometimes do come off like that.

1 There are many ideas from 1959 that are very harmful. For one, there was encouragement in the idea that black people are supposed to be subservient to white people, and it dehumanizes them. Hansberry's message is still extremely valid in this regard, because in many places, it is still the norm to treat black people like they're worth nothing but to serve white people.
2 The audience in this story is mainly lower class Americans who live in situations like theirs, which is very impactful because these people can finally be represented on stage a bit more. The meaning changes based on the audience, because people in the audience will always see themselves in the eyes of the victim and not the perpetrator. White folks might see themselves as Benetha, or Walter, and not the people who held them in that situation. Therefore, the meaning changes based on the audience.

L4 Question
This idea from the year 1959 where people who weren't white are living in the lower classes and being forced to live in properties where they live in poverty still remain true in the present. How does this idea still exist today? Well, have you ever seen any colored people in greenlined areas? Well that's the thing, this problem still exists due to red lining. America sucks but oh well, this is society now a'days.

Another L4 Question
The audience that the book "A Raisin in The Sun" is trying to reach is those have a similar situation or has been in the situation before. The meaning does change depending on the audiences due to some audience never experincing this situation before and might think this story might never happen to anybody ever. Yeah, i still agree with the message, people lived in poverty and cant get out. How it compares to other stories in this genre, its realistic and could happen to any one of us, who knows, it could be happening to me too.
