We are currently organising a Research Day event that will take place in May. The details are to be confirmed but please see below some brief information that we have so far for you:

September 2021 students - All of you will be joining the event to present your research project (approx. 15min presentation + 5min Q&A) to your peers, some TESOL tutors, and some PGR students (and yes it is mandatory for all of you to attend). It will be a very nice opportunity for you to share your progress and hear some feedback from others. Please do not worry if you have not completed your research by then - just share with us, for instance, what your research is about, what you have done, and what you will do further. The feedback might also be helpful for your further steps.

January 2022 students - You will not be asked to present anything but you are strongly recommended to join some sessions, which might give you some ideas on your own research project.

The event is still under preparation and we will keep you updated. Should you have any inquiries please feel free to contact us and your tutors.

Dear GSE PGRs,

Hope that you are well.

We are currently looking for some volunteers for the MEd TESOL Research Day. The event will take place on 19th of May (1300-1700) at St Luke's Campus, and we are looking for some chair and panel members.

There will be 5 sessions and in each session there will be 10 students presenting their research project. In each session room there will be 1-2 TESOL tutors, 1 chair (to host the session) and 1 panel (to ask questions and/or provide feedback to the students).
