I don't think I am a social media addict, but I still use them. About 6-7 months ago, I was a social media addict. I spent 7-8 hours daily on social media, watching Facebook or Instagram posts or chatting with friends. But recently, I decided to spend less time on social media. Now I log on to Facebook and Instagram twice or thrice daily. Teenagers spend too much time on social networking sites because many don't concentrate on homework or other things. But I still use social media and social networking sites when I have free time, but not for too long.

                          (Nojus)

I am addicted to social media. I spend about 10 hours daily on Facebook and other social media daily. I think teenagers are addicted to social media because they are lazy, don't do anything in real life, and have no hobbies. Very very good.

Research has found that the average person spends 2 hours and 24 minutes daily on social media. This means that over a year, we spend over 32 days scrolling through our feeds! While social media can be a great way to connect with others and stay informed, it's essential to be mindful of how much time we spend online. Too much screen time can lead to eye strain, headaches, and disrupted sleep patterns. Additionally, engaging in other activities that bring us joy and fulfilment is essential, such as spending time with loved ones, pursuing hobbies, or being active outdoors. Finding a healthy balance between screen time and other activities can improve our overall well-being and lead more fulfilling lives.

1. I visit social networking sites pretty often. My screen time is above 20 hours a week.
When I use an app or find something interesting, I tend to spend more time on my phone if it's a game I like or something like that.
2. The time I spend on a particular app depends on how much I use or like it.
If it's „TikTok“, I spend most of my time on it. If it's a game, then maybe 2-3 hours, depending on how interesting it is.
3. Maybe sometimes it can be a bad habit, but it depends on what they do on their phones.
It isn't wrong if it’s talking to a friend or finding information about a topic you’re interested in.
But if you only play games and sometimes avoid doing work to use your phone, then it’s terrible.
But if you have free time, you can go on your phone to your preferred apps.

Liepa
