We will learn more about each other in the days to come, but I want to acknowledge that in both the design and instruction of this course my bias and values will be on display and may influence the frame or shape of the content and activities. Despite this lack of objectivity, my deep hope is that you feel this course offers you the opportunity to develop your own ideas. I invite and encourage you to open discussion, disagree and offer alternatives to any ideas explored during the course. Please let me know if you have any questions throughout the course, and offer me feedback in regard to ways that I can support your learning experience.
