She orignally lives in Colorado with her grandmother and her Aunts, Uncles, and cousins since her mother was murdered 5 years ago and her father is in the Navy. She ends up being scouted out by the FBI because of her natural ability to profile. She soon moves into "The Naturals house" where she meets other teens like her.
Michael: 1/4  roommates Cassie has at The Naturals house. Michael becomes one of Cassie's love interests and has the Natural ability to read emotions and body language. Michael will do the dumbest things for Cassie and will do anything to protect Cassie.
Dean: 1/4 roommates Cassie has at The Naturals house. Dean is another one of Cassie's love interests who also has the natural ability to profile. Dean is the son of a Serial killer who killed several women when Dean was around 12.
Lia: Lia is also 1/4 of Cassie's roommates. Lia is a human lie detector as they call her. She's very good at sniffing out lies and can tell when people are telling the truth but she's also very good at lying herself. Lia tends to butt heads with Cassie and likes to start drama in the house.
Sloane: Sloane is also 1/4 of roommates Cassie has. Sloane and Cassie share a room and Sloane is know to be the neat freak. Sloane has the natural ability to calculate numbers and statistics.

Though this is aimed more at a teenage audience due to teenage romance and shenanigans, adults would also enjoy this book too!
