Yesterday, while going to work, a policeman made Jerry stop his car. Jerry was pulled over by him and was asked to get out of the car. (He pulled Jerry over and asked him to get out of the car.) The policeman later brought a handcuff and shackled Jerry. He said that his car was found in the gas station where the robbery happened. After a few moments, he got a call from his coworker saying that the robbers had been caught by another policeman. They were kept in the prison until they got to court for trial. The policeman later let Jerry go, but roughly half an hour had already passed. So, Jerry had no choice but to be late.
