She comes across this boy that says she shouldn't be here and on how she needs to leave before it becomes night and the lanterns/ other lights turn on. Although Kamaji says he doesn't need more help, but then someone else comes in and says to turn her in since everyone is making a fuss about her Kamaji says no that shes his granddaughter and defends her. Although she then became good friends with the lady who was telling that to Kamaji, shes called Lin. Lin helps Chihiro get settled in and to meet Yubaba in which you must do a contract to work here. Some trials that she faces is she must remember her name in order to go back to the real world, Yubaba takes people's names and gives them a fake one so they don't remmeber their real name and never go back to the real world.
