I agree with the article because I feel as if using emoticons helps me communicate over casual text. For example, with my friends I'll often use :0! to convey a sense of shock or surprise, or an exclamation. It helps my friends and I communicate in a relaxed tone. We can also use symbols like ^ to agree with a message above in an easy shorthanded way.

I agree with the article because often times people use "*" to correct themself when they spell something wrong. People also use " :) :( :/ " when typing to express their feelings/emotions. People are also using "! and ?" instead of writing a whole sentence out. "People are normalizing these things and are using them more often.

I agree with the article because people that use emoticons aren't ruining language they're basically just texting in a quicker way and not typing the whole word. For example if someone was doing something and was still trying to text they most likely don't have the time to type the whole thing so they could use emoticons.

I think that the text is right because it shows how emojis show how somebody might be saying something since when texting you cant have any tone so if you put a emoji it shows whether or not you can be happy, mad, sad, or more just by using emojis. When we are talking in real life most people that I know talk normally. This shows how emojis positively impact us when interacting with others using the internet.
