I can have my students create a journal to write in for the day. At the beginning of class I can give the students an entry ticket of what they expect to learn out of the day's lesson. I can have them write their goals of what they want to come out of the class with for content. I can then have them write an exit ticket of what they learned at the end of class. I can then have them connect the entry ticket to the exit ticket to see if their goal lined up with what they learned in class.
