"Un prof, Un outil"...any full time teacher can request a laptop that comes with Microsoft installed on it. Very convenient as there is tech support that comes along with it as well.

Smart boards and white boards

Not in all classrooms...my school calls these classrooms bi-modal. The tech is amazing, but the learning curve is huge. They are also equipped with a broadcasting video camera and sound system that allows for blended learning with in person and distance learning. We often use them for department meetings, as several of our team live outside of Drummondville (Quebec City, Sherbrooke, Trois Rivières, Boucherville).

Computers for students

Not in all classrooms. Equipped with LAN school. There are 30 laptops in each cabinet. There are 5-6 classrooms equipped as such. The school is trying to move towards students bringing in their own laptops.

Moodle

How did I not know this was available at my school? While I was talking to my CP, I mentioned that I really appreciate the power of moodle (as seen in the Performa MTP classes). She agreed that the more she is exposed to it the more she likes it. I will have to investigate how to use this system for my classes.
