This is my second course that I am taking as part of the Graduate Certificate in Business Development in International Education. My expectations for HEAL 535 include:

1.  gaining a greater awareness of the  communication processes and organizational culture that exist within my professional working environment.

2. increasing my understanding of how communication and culture can influence personal and professional development.

3.  applying communication, culture, and leadership theory to address real challenges and concerns.

My personal goals associated with taking HEAL 535 include:

1. completing the required assignments by balancing my work, school, and personal obligations.

2.  participate in the forum discussions to expand beyond my current understanding of the influences of communication and culture on leadership and organizational development.

3.  gaining as much insight from my friends and colleagues on their experiences related to culture, communication, and leadership in their work environments.
