Horace Mann was a great person. He grew up in a poor family but he wasn’t lazy and he always tried to learn something. Almost every single day he would go to the local library just to study for hours. But this didn’t end there,he graduated from Brown University as a valedictorian. He had a great issue that he wanted to be fixed. Horace led a fight to improve all schools physically. And he also fought for the salaries in schools. In his later years he was acknowledged a lot. But sadly he dies on August 2nd 1859.
