It bothers me that people spread false information about people especially teachers. I think it is rude to speak poorly of the teachers who educate us. Especially if it is just based on hearsay and not based on fact.

Creating more Community Based Events

I think that the district should be more in the community. I think that involvement from the community would help create more of a unified district.

Opportunities

I like that we have so many different classes and extracurricular activities offered in our district.

Negative opinions/ stereotypes

I don’t like that some activities aren’t known, represented ir respected as much as others. For example, most popular sports are talked about positively but there are other clubs such as maybe debate club, e sports, marching band, and indoor percussion (there are definitely others that I probably don’t know about), are spoken of poorly or aren’t talked about.

More awareness

Post-high school help

I'm very appreciative of how willing counselors are to assist students in their post-high school life, whether it be college, the military, or other options.

Control and Disrespect

I hate how some staff treat their authority as a dictatorship; that they are all knowing, do no wrong, and deserve to hold complete control over you when you're in their authority. I understand they have a sense of authority under me that I must respect, I more so mean teachers who refuse to respect students back. I have been treated with severe disrespect by several staff on several separate occasions, every instance where I've attempted to hold my ground I've been shot down and silenced because I'm 'below them' as a student. I deserve to be treated with respect if I'm respecting you, I am not below you, you are not above me.

I believe staff that abuse their authority should be held responsible and called out on their behavior, that I as a student still deserve to have a voice as I am human.

Chances to get involved in and out of school

There are many opportunities presented to students through clubs or morning announcements. This allows students to get involved in the school but also in the community.

A lack of respect for one another
