Main Idea:
The importance of the "Atlantis" concept in the continual approach of myths and its tradition. Freksa, an atlantologist, believes that Plato's story of Atlantis is derived from historical facts. This highly developed culture lived in the earth 5000 years ago (specific place unknown: Atlantic Ocean to India). However, the result of a nuclear war was the destruction of civilization itself. Thus the human race had to begin all over again.

5. Productions in Atlantis can be of three types, fantastic, pseudohistorical/ archaeological, (both are dubious), and studies of Atlantis in classical tradition.
6. Freksa's book and the Disney film belong to the fantastic type by using archaeology to allowed Atlantis and moral stuff.
