In the Greek culture is is said to have been killed by the demigod Hercules. The Sickle of the lion forms an arc of the head and cheats, and at the base of the Sickle, Leo’s brightest star known as Regularus sits. You can use the pointer stars of the Big Dipper to find Leo. The Mesopotamians were first known for finding the “Lion” constellation.
