My focus will be on the Teaching and Learning Framework component of Learning Environment. This will also encompass Goal 3-Social and emotional development in the compass to 2020 strategic framework. As the classroom teacher, I can support a culture that is safe for all students to be risk takers in their learning, become passionate learners, collaborate and communicate with peers with confidence. My formative focus is to learn how to strategically cultivate a culture and environment where learning is positive and safe, building respectful and positive relationships, and to nurture social and emotional development.
