Anne Frank was a Jewish girl of German origins who dreamed of becoming a writer. Her life was cut short at an early age but she left a testimony of terrible events that occurred during the period in which she lived. It is with her diary that she became the symbol of the Shoah, the extermination of the Jews. Anna was born on June 12, 1929 in Frankfurt am Main to a wealthy family. During the persecuzione of the Jews eh toilette reguge in a secret house with her family.
in August 1944 they were discovered and the inhabitants of the house at the back were arrested and deported to concentration camps. The only one who survived was Anna's father. Anna died of typhus in 1945 in the Bergen-Belsen concentration camp. For me one of his most beautiful phrases, contained in the Diary is: What has happened cannot be erased, but it can be prevented from happening again".
Rocco Guerriero
