This trip forces Nick to ponder the moral obligations of his profession and leads him to think about what he truly wants rather than what the conglomerates want. This concludes with him finally forming healthy relationships.

This drives the plot forward because it makes baby want to get out of what he’s doing and it’s significant to the plot as it shows the character development of baby and how his mental state deteriorates the more he does this job

The inciting incident in Drive is where the protagonist, simply named ‘Driver’, is sat waiting for some criminals to finish their burglary. Essentially, the director has thrown you in at the deep end to show you the life of crime and getaway driving. Driver manages to successfully evade the police after they catch wind of the robbery. After the robbery, the audience is shown a glimpse into Driver’s normal life. Which still involves cars.

When he sees this girl he tries to maintain his confidence but seems to be failing as he is astounded by what he sees ahead of him .This drives the plot forward as we see a lot of character development in one scene. When chaotic fans break onto the concert and attempt to harass the singer, this is where you first see the protagonist's skills in combat and intellgence.
