• Close proximity to the Network Rail network lines or stations).

• Contribution to climate resilience (e.g. riparian planting, sustainable drainage in urban areas).

• Part of a wider initiative or partnership (eg environmental, social).

• Youth involvement, including skills training or enterprise elements.

• Collaboration with a Tree Warden Network or other local community groups.

• Use of sustainable, recyclable, non-polluting, and low impact resources and materials for tree protection.

As an IT charity, all projects they fund must make use of information technology, and must relate to one or more of their priority areas

• Education

• Inclusion

• IT for charities

• Public understanding of IT

Projects need to demonstrate an innovative use of IT, be scalable for wider replication, and be sustainable over time.

Projects funded are usually up to £15,000.

Applications for funding may be submitted at any time and are considered at one of four meetings a year.

You can use the funding to:

• start a new activity or continue an existing one

• help your organisation adapt to new challenges

• run one-off events that have a clear environmental benefit.

They’re looking to fund projects that:

• help people connect with and care for nature in their area

• make a positive difference to the environment

Project applicants must be located within 50 miles of an Arnold Clark branch (of which there are number in the South East and London). The maximum grant amount is £2,500.

Delivered by the School for Social Entrepreneurs with support from Access – The Foundation for Social Investment, this free 12-month programme supports charities, social enterprises and community organisations to grow their trading income and prepare for social investment.

Participants will receive tailored learning, peer coaching, investment surgeries, expert insight and opportunities to connect with social investors. There is also the opportunity to access a Match Trading™ grant of up to £18,000 or a repayable grant of up to £24,000. The Social Investment Gateway Programme is for organisations that:

• have applied for, or are planning to apply for, social investment, usually within the next three years

• have an active trading model, with plans to grow over the next year

• need additional support to become ready for social investment, for example with market development, pricing and sales, financial strategy, systems, governance, impact or risk

• have an annual income of above £100,000

RMD Adventure Learning CIC - Summer Holiday Progamme in Odiham. For children and young people in School Years 4–11. Taking place across four weeks during the summer holidays at the Baker Hall, each session will combine adventure, creativity, teamwork, and wellbeing through a wide range of exciting activities. Young people can enjoy experiences such as bushcraft, Nerf Academy, arts and crafts, sports, water activities, climbing, cooking, nature exploration, team challenges, and much more. £30 per session (11.00-15.00) for non-HAF places.

Vision 4 Youth - Youth club sessions in Yateley for 11-16 year olds which include many different activities (art, sports, cooking, use of the youth club games and a hot meal). The club is open for four weeks, Monday-Thursday, with a variety of activities each day to suit all interests.

Running from 12.00-17.00. £16 per session for non-HAF places.

There will be different activities on different days including:

Hart Eco Hub - Saturday 18 July

This workshop is designed to build participants’ confidence in using sewing as a practical tool for sustainable living. Learners will develop knowledge of ethical materials and how to source and repurpose fabrics from existing textiles. Learners will gain foundational hand-sewing skills and learn key repair techniques, enabling them to extend the life of garments or upcycle them for different purposes. Learners will practice the most common type of seams and seam finishes that are used within construction and repair of garments. Learners will also create a small tote bag using a recycled items of clothing. Please bring the following with you - Sewing machine, Pins, Needles, Thread, Fabric Scissors, Dressmaker's Tape Measure, Bobbins, Items of Clothing to be recycled as a tote bag, Bias Binding, which when pressed with an iron is 1cm wide.
