The traditions of Chinese and Western media theory are shaped by their respective politics, economics, and culture. The state-controlled media are being commercialized, capitalized, and expanded domestically in China. In Chinese media theory, it is used as an allegory for the nature and function of the mass media, which are controlled by the government. As a kind of "tongue" of the State, the media ensure not only the essence of socialism, but also the essence of socialism, serving socialist politics and economy. Western media is more open and freedom. Its main features are the privileging of the market, weak government intervention, weak political parallelism, and the Anglo-American concept of journalistic professionalism. The media system is converging towards some features of a "free" system. Commercialization has contributed to the reshaping of media culture, political communication, and journalistic norms, leading to a weakening of political parallelism and the rise of "critical professionalism" in news and political journalism( Hardy, 2008).Most importantly, commercialization is considered the most powerful force driving globalization and homogenization.

It is important to avoid thinking of China and the "West" as opposites. Thinking in terms of "the West" is an invitation to simplification and distortion. As the spread of the Internet and the development of technology, the differences between the western and Chinese media systems are decreasing.

Media systems in other parts of the world may be found to be unsuited to any Western model or kind. The structural relationships of global media systems are more than simple comparisons; Comparative analysis helps to clarify the relationship between media systems and their social and political contexts (Zhao,2011). Global social medias such as Facebook, Twitter and Google are banned in China due to its strict censorship. It has been proven that some inappropriate statements do have an impact on the political and social stability of the country in these social medias. Therefore, China invented its own unique social media. As you can see from the data, the impact of social medias on family life is even greater in China than in other countries.

Discourse analysis is a qualitative research method of studying written or spoken words in connection with their social context. Therefore, by reading books and articles written by Chinese and foreign authors and watching videos on Chinese and Western media, I can analyze multiple perspectives, and see many interesting different viewpoints and cultural clashes. For example, the Canadian Youtuber think that Chinese media contribute in some way to the overall development of China, however, some western media, such as the CBC, twisted the facts or influenced politics and public safety. Facebook and Twitter naming you, people can't distinguish real and fake news. The media controls the world, they promote politicians, they are responsible for getting politicians into those positions. The American Youtuber said that western media was so negative towards China due to jealousy. Some western medias deliberately twist the facts to make the Western masses think that China is struggling and bad, because China's rapid growth and power is causing them to become nervous.
