Hello everyone,

Newly I read a book 'PANCHATANTRA' .

I Really like a story of THE LOYAL MONGOOSE .

LET'S BEGIN

THE LOYAL MONGOOSE:-

Once upon a time, there lived a poor farmer with his wife and their little son in a small village. They lived in a simple house surrounded by fields and trees. The farmer worked very hard in his fields to support his family. His wife took care of the house and their little child.

The family had a pet mongoose. The mongoose had been with them for a long time. It was gentle, clever, and faithful. The farmer and his wife loved it like a member of their family. The mongoose was especially fond of the little baby. It often stayed near the baby and watched over him while he slept. The farmer believed that the mongoose would never harm the child.

One morning, the farmer had to go to the fields to do some important work. His wife also had some work outside the house. Before leaving, they made sure that their baby was sleeping comfortably. They left the mongoose near the baby because they trusted it to keep watch.

After the parents had gone, a large poisonous snake entered the house. It slowly moved towards the baby. The snake was dangerous, and the sleeping child could not protect himself. The mongoose noticed the snake and immediately became alert. It understood that the baby was in danger.

The mongoose bravely attacked the snake. The snake tried to defend itself, but the mongoose did not run away. A fierce struggle took place between them. After a long fight, the mongoose finally defeated and killed the snake. In this way, it saved the baby's life.

The mongoose was tired after the fight, but it remained near the baby. It had done its duty faithfully and protected the child from danger.

After some time, the farmer's wife returned home. She was carrying some things and was eager to see her baby. As she approached the house, she saw the mongoose coming towards her. Its mouth and body had blood on them because of the fight with the snake.

The woman was shocked and frightened when she saw the blood. She immediately thought that something terrible had happened to her baby. Instead of going inside and checking on the child, she became angry and acted without thinking. She believed that the mongoose had attacked her baby.

In her fear and anger, she struck the mongoose. The poor animal died before it could receive any help. The woman then hurried inside the house to see her child.

To her great surprise, she found the baby safe and sleeping peacefully. She looked around the room and noticed a dead poisonous snake lying near the baby's place. Suddenly, she understood what had really happened.

The blood on the mongoose was not the baby's blood. It was the blood of the snake that the mongoose had fought and killed. The mongoose had actually protected the baby from the dangerous snake.

The woman was filled with sadness and regret. She realized that she had made a terrible mistake. The loyal mongoose had saved her child's life, but she had killed it because she had acted in anger and had not checked the truth.

When the farmer returned home, his wife told him everything. He was also deeply saddened. They both realized that their faithful pet had sacrificed its life to protect their child.

The story of the loyal mongoose teaches us a very important lesson. We should never make decisions in anger, fear, or haste. Before blaming or judging someone, we should always find out the complete truth. A moment of anger can sometimes lead to a decision that cannot be undone.

MORAL OF THE STORY:-We should never make decisions in anger or hurry. We should first find out the truth before judging anyone.

NAME OF THE AUTHOR :-NOUSHEEN KHAN .

NAME OF THE PUBLISHER :-SHRI KAKAD .

RANVEER 7TH 'C'

Hello everyone,👋🏻

A few days ago I read the excellent Masterpiece of Booker T Washington.

First we will know about book and its author.🖋️📙

The name of the book is up from slavery and it's author is Booker T Washington.

Up from Slavery is the famous 1901 autobiography of Booker T. Washington, an influential African American educator, author, and leader. The book chronicles his journey from being born into slavery in Virginia during the Civil War to becoming the founder and first leader of Tusk egee Normal and Industrial Institute (now Tusk egee University) in Alabama.

Reading Up from Slavery really opened my eyes and gave me a totally new perspective on what true grit and determination mean. Written as an autobiography, the book takes us right through Booker T. Washington’s incredible life journey—starting out as an enslaved child on a small farm in Virginia with no shoes, no proper clothes, and not even a last name, and working his way up to become one of the most important and influential leaders of his time.

What stood out to me the most while reading it was his unstoppable work ethic. Washington didn't just dream about a better life; he chased it against impossible odds. I was deeply moved by how he heard about a school for Black children and decided to walk hundreds of miles—sleeping under sidewalks and doing odd jobs along the way—just to reach the Hampton Institute. When he finally arrived looking tired and covered in dust, the headmistress tested his character by telling him to clean a recitation room. Because he swept and dusted that room with absolute perfection, they accepted him as a student. That moment really taught me that no task is too small if you put your best effort into it.

As he grew older, Washington dedicated his entire life to education. He went on to found the Tusk egee Institute in Alabama, starting it from scratch in an old abandoned shanty and a church. The students literally built their own schoolhouses and made their own bricks with their bare hands, showing the power of practical education. Washington’s main message throughout the book is all about self-reliance, hard work, and learning useful trades. He believed that by building economic independence through labor and skills, people could earn respect and improve their standing in society.

While reading about his life, it is also interesting to look at the historical debates around his ideas. Later on, other civil rights leaders, like W.E.B. Du Bois, disagreed with some of his methods. Du Bois felt that Washington was too willing to accept segregation temporarily instead of demanding immediate political and civil rights. Learning about this disagreement adds a lot of depth, showing how different leaders had different ideas about the best way to achieve equality and justice.

Overall, I think Up from Slavery is an inspiring and powerful read. It isn't just a boring history lesson; it is a true story about how much a person can achieve through education, patience, and perseverance, no matter how difficult their circumstances might be.

I will guarantee you if you will read this book you will find a change in your personality. 💯

" Excellent excellent work by excellent personality "

Book's information 📚

Book :- Up from slavery

Author :- Booker T Washington

Publisher :- Double day, Page & Co

Now, student's information 😎

Name of the student :- Yash Kumar

Class :- 9th 'A'

Roll no. :- '46'
