Travelers describe their own societies with a lot of negative feedback as opposed to when they travel outside of their own Societies in which they often described them with many exaggerations siindicating that they may be impressed with the societies that they travel to as opposed to their own current Society where that they feel as though they're the ones that they live in may be lacking or just not on par with others. The document provided may also seems that the Travellers were attempting to keep is out of the question or trying to keep it real or even reserved opinion for the places that they were visiting along the Silk Road. Travelers view as the other societies are better than their own it may be simply a neat as they may have grown in to their society in such a way that it seems monotonous almost as if they were to do the same thing over and over again daily orders to have seen the same thing. Simple breath of fresh air may have changed their perspective on things perhaps maybe not on the societies were empires in which they live in but perhaps in the world in and of itself

The travelers had varying perspectives on the cities they visited. These perspectives can be summed up into missionaries who attempt to fulfill their religions, those who looked to spread their culture, and those who attempted to inform/empower their government

Travelers went along the Silk Road looking to find insights that helped them gain a better understanding of their religion. Also, people went on a search for different ways to improve their commerce. Another one would be to diffuse their cultural beliefs in forms of mission
