-She is the main accuser and can be traced back to the beginning of the Salem Witch Trials. She started accusing people to take the blame off of herself after she was discovered dancing naked and drinking blood in the woods.
-She did this because she fell in love with John Proctor after he had an affair with Abigail. She was dancing in the woods and drinking blood to try and cast a spell to make John fall in love with her. She was originally the Proctors maid but was kicked out and fired after Elizebeth found out about the affair
-She hates John's wife Elizabeth because she wants to be the one that John loves. After Elizabeth kicked her house she tried everything to get rid of her. This included the spell in the woods and eventually accused her of witchcraft and took her to court.

-The next day when Bette wont wake Tituba is accused of witchcraft. She admits to it so she won't be hung. This begins the Salem witch trials.

- After she couldn't figure out what was wrong with the girls they had John Hale come check on the girls. John highly praised Rebecca and admired her work. 
- Rebecca Nurse and her husband were then accused of witchcraft by Abigail with led to both of them being hung even though they were completely innocent.

He ran the court and was the leading judge that made all of the final decisions.

-After John admitted to adultery he freed Elizabeth from prison to join the court and confirm the final decision. In the end, John Proctor was said to be guilty and was sent to jail and later hung because of the accusation.
