They help us survive and continue to discover new cures for medical reasons and others.

It will help with grabbing people's attention about the endangered species of North America that people can relate to. I will be able to use this article to find one way that endangered species become endangered. As well as different ways humans effect species to become endangered. If there are ways humans can protect certain species that are about to become endangered, then how can we help and ways to protect other species in the future.

use this for effects and the WHY for why we humans should save the endangered species. As well as the point about humans also killing species is because of fear for our own lives but also for pets and livestock too. This made me think in a different direction for why humans kill of species so quickly. Also the author made a good point for needing to keep a balance in the ecosystem, example is killing the wolf population. If the grey wolf is extinct there will be an unbalance towards the prey it normally kills.
