(b) Although the conflict is a long distance away, the effects have a knockdown effect on the daily lives of people due to how interconnected the World is now today. The conflict has led to some uncertainty in the world's energy supplies hence impacting global fuel prices which will then impact local energy costs and subsequently affecting the basic living costs for all.
Those with more spending power would be able to cushion the increases but those with limited spending power would face greater pressure in surviving.

I tell them it is not right to call each other names and say offensive remarks that will cause hurt and anger to people of other races and nationalities. For example, I asked how may of them have parents or relatives of different nationalities. Many of them raised their hands and noticed that Singapore is made up of diverse nationalities working and living together. The common thing is that we are here in the same country and we should be united as one people, one nation, one Singapore.
2) I advise my P6s to always think about the future and how what we do now will affect our future. If they want success in the future, it starts with their own effort and it has to be sustained throughout. I tell them that our school values of integrity, responsibility, excellence, acceptance and perseverance should always be in their minds and in whatever actions they do.

- Things happen for a reason. However we must always stand up to our belief no matter how other view it. Our world view and belief does matter as a small nation but it has to be consistant in all aspect.

Community
- As the world has no boundaries, we must learn each other views, belief with respect and tolerance. While we have out set of values that we conform, if other have different view we must be able to agree to disagree. Tolerence goes a long way than to prove whose theory is correct. No point finding who is right but the essence of living together is gone

Singapore
Singapore has always have a belief in data. Since they abstain from voting in human rights because of insufficient data, I believe Singapore is able to stay on its feet because we are driven by values and not sentiments.
