My name is Wallace HE SENG CHON. I am 18. I was born on 05 January 2007. Something I would like to do in my relaxing time is billiards, do exercise and play table soccer.

My major is primary education. I chose this major because I think kids are cute. Maybe you would say “some of them are naughty”, but I will tell them there is no one teach them how to be better. That is the reason why I learn about this major.

My favorite website to learn English is https://dictionary.cambridge.org/ because of his function when AI is not unfashionable.

The first reason is that I can find similar meaning words on it. When I wrote English journal; I should write the synonym to the same meaning in an essay. At that time, it was really useful on it.

The second reason is it can translate the words to me. When there are some words, I did not know. I can just write it on the search box and know the meaning.

The third reason is it can write the sentence about what I search. It helps me easy to know how to use this word.

Compare and contrast two universities

(Nora)

In this project, we are going to compare HNU (Hunan Normal University) and UTM (Macao University of Tourism). We have nine points to get how they are diffidence.

First, We have to compare their location. They are in different cities. About the traffic. UTM will be easier to go there by bus, students’ own vehicle from downtown. But HNU should take the subway to their own station.

Secondly, we will talk about the campuses. HNU is more than UTM. HNU has three and UTM only two of them. Although HNU campus is Farrer than UTM, they both have their own way to let students spend less time on traffic.

The graduation requirements of the two universities also have subtle differences. In HNU, in addition to basic lessons, students also need to maintain good virtues. UTM's graduation requirements are simpler than HNU 's just need to finish credits and exams. In terms of difficulty, HNU is a bit stricter.

(Yao Lang Xi)

Graduation: HNNU requires diverse credits across disciplines, with theses undergoing strict reviews and short, general internships. MITS centers on 6–12 months of tourism-specific internships, letting students gain hands-on industry experience, while theses are flexible, often tied to internship insights.

Courses: HNNU’s classes lean heavily on theory, with tough exams testing deep understanding. MITS blends theory with practice, using group projects and simulations—like planning tours or managing mock hotel operations—instead of intense exams.

Rules: HNNU enforces curfews, mandatory morning exercises, and strict attendance to foster discipline. MITS is relaxed: no curfews, flexible attendance, and more freedom in daily routines, trusting students to balance responsibilities.

(Wallace)

We want to compare the quality of living in these two universities. We will focus on three things: dormitory life, learning atmosphere, and local prices.

When we did the project, we also want to collect information from each university's official website and related platforms. What seemed like usual information - gathering job actually had many problems:

First, the dormitories of Hunan Normal University (HNU) are on many different campuses. After thinking carefully, we chose the most typical four - person dorm rooms to compare.

Second, it's hard to sort out local price information. Both transportation costs and the prices of different goods and services are different in some way between Macau and Mainland China.
