We are being supported with learning community co-design and being supported with a budget to implement a project using this practice. Time, paying community co-designers, recruiting co-designers with lived experience are among the challenges.

Our CLT hasn't been as connected to our work lately. We host all meetings virtually because they prefer to meet this way. I think we need to start seeking new members.

Regional CLT

I help recruit people from SLC to be on the regional CLT. I try to connect with these members quarterly with a phone call or over coffee as time permits to hear what they are seeing and also to gather feedback about current SHIP initiatives.

We generally use project-specific "CLTs" that provide guidance and help do the work on our SHIP projects (for example, Bike Friendly Community steering committee)

I'm not sure if these are actually CLTs but it's a way for us to have consistent, regular input on SHIP work and people feel really engaged with the work

As we re-kick off our CLT - we are using one of our CHIP priorities to form the CLT with passionate community members - Healthy Food Access focus

Funded Partners

SLC funds some community-based non-profits who serve in specific communities. Their capacity in their organizations tends to be more community and relationship emphasized while LPH has many other responsibilities to juggle.
