Maraming advantage na dulot ang makabagong paraan ng pagkatuto o online class at ito ay;

Una, mas mataas seguridad ng bawat estudyante dahil sila ay nasa kani-kanilang tahanan. Lalo na sa panahon ngayon, mas mapapabuti ang mga estudyante.

Pangalawa, hindi nahuhuli sa pagpasok lalo na kapag ang klase ay alas-siyete (7am) ng umaga. Mas nagiging magaan ito sa parte ng mga estudyante dahil di na nila kailangan pang magmadali sa pagpasok sa skwela.

At pangatlo, mas makakapag pahinga at magkaroon ng sapat na oras sa pagtulog. Ito ay naging rason din dahil kapag may naka schedule na klase ay maaring magpahinga pagkatapos dahil nasa bahay lang ang mga estudyante.

Ang disadvantage naman ng online class ay;
(1)walang aktwal na interaksyon ng estudyante at ang guro, (2) hindi lahat ay may pribilehiyo ng pagkakaroon ng mga kagamitan na kinakailangan, (3) maaaring may teknikal na problema.
