The main learning outcomes of this activity include developing environmental awareness, recognizing recyclable materials, creative thinking, problem-solving, supporting fine motor skills, and designing functional products. In addition, students experienced the full process from production to use by playing with the materials they created themselves. This made learning more meaningful and lasting.

In this activity, we carry out a cooperative dance in which the children move to the rhythm of music inspired by the “formula of peace” previously learned in class. This formula is made up of essential values such as empathy, welcoming others, patience, mediation, listening, emotional awareness, respect, equality, joy, care, ecology, sharing, and cooperation. Through the dance, students express and put these values into practice in a meaningful way, understanding that by integrating them into our daily actions, we help create a more peaceful and harmonious environment.

In this activity, the students selected a typical dish from the Semana Santa in Spain. They then researched its preparation process and created an infographic in which they present, in a clear and visual way, the ingredients and the steps required to make it. In addition, the photograph shows the actual torrijas that were prepared, which were cooked by one of the students.

In this activity, we made a birdhouse using an empty one-liter carton. We also used a small stick for the bird to stand on and a pine cone from the countryside.”

This activity led us through a tough path to reach an agreement. We needed to poll a couple of days, but finally, we can manage. We've learnt to listen to others, share our thoughts, and put our own ideas aside to make a common decision.

​Our students imagined this fantastic fire brigade project using cardboard boxes, paper cups, and waste materials. Through this activity, they raised environmental awareness while showcasing their creativity. Understanding the importance of recycling, our students transformed unused materials into artistic and playful creations.

the children showed great curiosity and enthusiasm while discovering new places, learning how different languages sound, and recognising similarities and differences between the countries. this activity helped the class develop a stronger sense of belonging to a wider european community and encouraged respect, interest, and openness towards other cultures.

finally, we created all the little flags that we later used during the moment of sharing and greeting in the collective video call. waving the flags together made the children feel truly connected to the other participants and helped create a joyful atmosphere of friendship, exchange, and collaboration. 🌍✨

The repeated word “libero/libera” becomes a symbol of a world where every person, every child, and even nature itself deserves respect and freedom. The song speaks not only about personal freedom, but also about responsibility, fairness, and peaceful coexistence. It reminds us that rules and laws should protect people, not frighten them, and that punishment should help someone understand their mistakes rather than become revenge.

One of the strongest messages is the rejection of violence and torture:
“Mai la violenza, mai la tortura / non si guarisce con la paura.”
These lines communicate to children that fear and cruelty can never create justice or peace. Instead, understanding, dignity, and humanity must guide society.

The children’s comment adds another beautiful perspective. Their words connect freedom with childhood, play, nature, and equality among all children:

“Io cresco libero se posso giocare.”

This shows how naturally children associate freedom with happiness, growth, and the possibility of being themselves. Their wish for all children to be free, both near and far, transforms the song into a universal message of solidarity and peace.

The author’s intention is especially meaningful because she chooses to explain difficult and abstract concepts — such as democracy, rights, justice, participation, and civic responsibility — through rhythm, rhyme, and imagination. Children often understand concrete images more easily than abstract ideas, and the playful language helps them internalize important constitutional values in a spontaneous and emotional way.

Ultimately, the song teaches that it is never too early to speak with children about freedom, equality, justice, peace, and human dignity. It encourages them to grow into active, thoughtful citizens who care about others and who understand that democracy must always be protected through participation, respect, and awareness. 🌍✨

This activity also introduced the idea of the school garden (the “school vegetable garden”) as an important educational tool. Working with plants allowed children to understand natural cycles, the importance of caring for living things, and the value of sustainable practices. The garden becomes a hands-on learning environment where pupils can develop responsibility, patience, and environmental awareness, while also connecting scientific concepts to real-life experiences.

​Today, we had an unforgettable day in our classroom, filled with the rich scents of our culture! Our students experienced the art of making gözleme—one of the most delicious pieces of our traditions—together with our wonderful parents.

​Little hands rolled out the dough, the fillings were prepared, and the warm gözleme cooked with love on the iron griddle were enjoyed by everyone! 😋

​We whole-heartedly congratulate our students, who learn while having fun and discover the joy of sharing. We also extend our deepest gratitude to our devoted parents who never leave us alone and contributed so much to this wonderful event. ❤️
